Our forests are currently facing a massive threat from the Emerald Ash Borer. As millions of ash trees succumb to this invasive species, they typically rot or are burned, releasing their stored carbon back into the atmosphere and fueling further warming.
Viking Carbon is changing that cycle. We are salvaging this abundance of dead and dying wood and converting it into high-quality biochar. Instead of letting that carbon escape, we lock it away permanently—turning a landscape of loss into a foundation for regeneration.
